1. Slight density
The density of magnesium alloy sheet is slightly higher than that of pure magnesium (1.738g·cm-3), which is 1.74-1.85g·cm-3, 36% lower than that of aluminum alloy, 73% lower than that of zinc alloy, and only 1/4 of that of steel. So its specific strength and specific stiffness are both very high.
